The ASICS Metaspeed Edge Tokyo is a race-winning favorite among runners, building on the strengths of the previous Paris model with new midsole foams. It’s lighter, softer, and more responsive – performs best when running at faster race speeds.

The top layer consists of lightweight, bouncy FF LEAP™ foam for softer cushioning and energy return. The more resilient FF TURBO™ PLUS gives a firmer, stable landing, preventing your heel from sinking. 

Compared to the Metaspeed Sky, the Metapseed EDGE has a softer underfoot cushion, a more significant rocker – making it ideal for 'cadence-style' runners who speed up by taking quicker and more frequent steps.

• A carbon plate enhances the energy return from the midsole. There's more deformable foam under the plate, a wider platform and is positioned higher in the forefoot part. 
• New ATPU-based FF LEAP™ cushion is significantly more bouncy, responsive and lighter. It is positioned in the top layer to help provide more cushioning and a higher energy return. 
• FF Turbo Plus cushion is extremely lightweight and bouncier than previous FF TURBO™ version. It is positioned in the top layer to offer a more stable landing and more energy return

OUTSOLE
